So we left Hilton Head on Tuesday morning with high hopes and a new "O" ring installed.  We made it about 3/4 of a mile before the engine started overheating again.  Back into Hilton on one engine.  On the way I called a mechanic out of Chattanooga, contact we got from Jim and Joann.  Mistake I made was I did not know that the cooling system had to be bled.  After doing that we headed out again.  The fitting is still leaking, so we just cruised slowly to Beaufort, SC.  We ubered to an auto parts store to pick up some more coolant and I tried again to fix the "O" ring adding some "form a gasket" hoping it would help.  It did not.  We decided to leave on Wednesday and head to Charleston.  Long day cruising at an average of 8-9 mph.  We did manage to get ahold of a mechanic in Georgetown that said he could look at the boat on Friday.  Instead of staying 2 days in Charleston, we decided to move on to Georgetown on Thursday to be there Friday morning for the mechanic.

We did manage to spend a few hours at the marina pool in Charleston.

Early morning start with the sunrise heading Charleston.
