Sunday  4/25/21 - Monday 4/26/21

Day Miles:      27

Total Miles:    4348

Travel Days:   81

Total Days     180

So just a little bit of a back track to recap Hilton Head.  We left Beaufort planning for a slow cruise day to Hilton Head.  This was mainly because at this point I have been unable to fix our engine coolant leak.  I did get online and order a new "O" ring and having it next day air shipped to Hilton Head to arrive on Monday.  We arrived at Hilton Head around lunch time and were met by friends Jim and Joann.  We first met them in 2019 at Green Turtle Bay.  Turns out they have a villa on the island and were actually there at the same time. We visited, with a Bloody Mary on the boat and got caught up.  They left but we made plans to meet up with them for dinner.  The marina is very nice and plenty of shops, and bars right in the basin.  After walking around a bit we stopped for drinks and shared a Nathan's chili dog.  Jim and Joann picked us up and we drove to dinner at Skull Creek Boathouse.  We also met Ned and Eric who were their friends on the Island golfing.  Dinner was great.

On Monday morning, my "O" ring arrived and I went to work to put it in.  The old "O" ring was definitely worn out.  That done we took the free trolley to go to the beach.  Other than it being a little windy it was a great day for the beach.

Back at the boat we got cleaned up and again Jim and Joann picked us up for dinner going to the Black Marlin.  After dinner we drove to Shelter Cove Marina and walked around a bit.  We said our goodbyes back at the boat.

After Hilton Head we went to Beaufort SC.  That will be the next post though.  I know the anticipation is killing you.  :)
