We left Liberty landing and after taking more pictures with buddy boats in front of the Statue of Liberty, we headed North up the Hudson River.  It was really cool to cruise past New York City.  Soon after crossing under the George Washington Bridge, the landscape changed from urban to mountains quickly.  It was a nice cruise to Half Moon Bay.

Shortly after arriving, a brief but hard rain shower moved in.  Most everyone just took it easy that afternoon and evening.  On Wednesday morning we took a taxi to see the Croton on the Hudson Dam.  Jack and Joanne from "Jackpot" and Brenda and Sonny from "New Hope" came along with us.  The Dam was pretty neat to see.

After the Dam we took a taxi into town for lunch.  After lunch we decided to walk back to the marina.  It was over a mile walk and it was hot and humid.  We did manage to find a liquor store on the walk back and I scored a bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon.  After cooling down at the boat a large group gathered for docktails.  I think there were about 10-12 boats there.  We were treated to a nice sunset and then turned in.
