I will start by saying that I will not get you totally caught up today.  It is currently Thursday the 10th and we are in Kingston, NY.  What I will do is tell you about New York.  We left Great Kills Yacht Club with a buddy boat "Island Office" who are gold loopers, Mark and Denise.  We met them in Norfolk.  We arranged to take pictures of each of us in front of the Statue of Liberty.  We also took a lot of pictures of the NY Skyline.  I will not post them all here!

Once we got into Liberty Landing, we took the Ferry across the Hudson to Manhattan.  Since we already did the Memorial we decided to walk the shops at the  Oculus.  We managed not to buy anything.

After shopping we walked a block down to O'Hara's Bar for a drink.  We also met up with "Jackpot" Jack and Joann and "New Hope" Sonny and Brenda.  What a cool survivor bar.  The entire bar was decorated with patches from Fire Departments and Police Departments.  

They had a book that rivaled anything we saw in the museum.  

Back at the boat we walked down the pier to take pictures of the NY Skyline

We left out Tuesday for Half Moon Bay.  We also went back to the Statue of Liberty to take more pictures of "Jackpot" and others.

Can't say enough about how cool it was to actually take our boat through NYC!

We are headed to the Looper Pig Roast tomorrow with a weekend of activities at Shady Harbor Marina.   Should be fun with a whole weekend of Loopers!
