We left Half Moon Bay and cruised up the Hudson to Kingston, NY. It was a nice cruise with nice scenery. We passed West Point and a few of the Hudson River Lighthouses.
Someone did not anticipate the 5 foot tides on the Hudson.

Hard to see but I tried to catch a bald eagle that snagged a fish

We arrived in Kingston shortly after lunch. The dock was not much to speak of, and we ended up having to move our boat and the one behind us back to make room for another Looper. We were right downtown so after a lunch and a quick clean we walked up. Lot of restaurants but not many shops. We ran into "Jackpot" and "New Hope", so we went to the Ole Savannah Southern restaurant for drinks and appetizers. It was a really cool place.
We walked back to the boat for dinner and then took it easy. On to Shady Harbor on Friday.
