The St. Claire river had about a 2mph current, so as we slowly cruised by the towns and houses, we were only doing about 7mph.  After a while the river widened and we were able to get up and run for a little bit.  It was a nice day for a cruise.  We slowed down to pass Port Huron and then under the Blue Bridge into Lake Huron.  The water really is blue.  The current going under the bridge increased to about 5-6 mph as Lake Huron funnels into the St. Clair river.

We ran the last 25 miles and arrived at Lexington Harbor around lunchtime.  We took a walk around the small town and had a drink at the Sweetwater Pub.

Sweetwater Deli and Bar

The rain held off, so we ended walking to the Windjammer restaurant at the Marina.  My ribeye and Marcia's perch were OK, but not really blog-worthy.

After dinner we walked the marina area as it was a nice night.
Walkway on top of the break wall.

Beach next to the marina.
Back at the boat we watched a show and prepared for an early departure on Friday.
