OK - so sorry for the delay in posting. Everyday here is like a Saturday at the marina. I will try to recap and catch you all up.
Friday 9/20/19
Marcia and I actually started the day off hitting the gym here. I know it is hard to believe, but it is true. Doubt we worked off what we took in over the last week, but it was an attempt. Our new Burgee holder and pole came in. Was a walk to the ship store, marina office, and then accounting before we found it, but we did. This one is rated for more than 10mph, so we should be OK. After lunch, we made plans to dinghy run with Greg and Rhonda from the boat next to us. They remind me of our marina and family group so we did a lot drinking and laughing.. We took our dinghies about 2-4 miles down Lake Barkley to Buzzard Rock Marina. We had a few cocktails and then headed back. On the way back, we were following them and Rhonda was waving her arms at us. The Asian Carp were jumping about 3-4 feet out of the water behind their boat. Just as we were slowing down, we hit bottom. Turns out she was waving for the depth, not the fish. It was still pretty cool. Felt like we were on National Geographic. Kept waiting for a bear to swipe at the fish. I so wish I could have gotten a picture. No damage to the dinghy prop from tapping the bottom. Turns out we were in about a foot of water.

We stopped into the Thirsty Turtle for happy hour and then went back to the boat. We changed and then took the golf cart shuttle back to the TT. We had dinner and listened to the band for a little bit then walked back to the boat.
Saturday 9/21/19
I started the day cooking bacon and pancakes for Marcia's birthday. Greg loaned us some of his farm's maple syrup. We did some cleaning on the boat, and then went to the pool for while. After the pool we got cleaned up for dinner as we had reservations the Commonwealth Yacht Club for dinner. We had HH and then ended up sitting with Greg and Rhonda, and Jim and Joann for dinner, Greg had a bottle of wine waiting for Marcia. Dinner was a riot, and Marcia got a free chocolate cake and ice cream dessert. We did have the whole place singing Happy Birthday. After dinner, we night-capped on Greg's boat for awhile. He was playing guitar, and we were all having a good time.

Sunday 9/22/19
We decide to put some fuel in and pump out since we needed to move the boat to put the dinghy up anyway. Was pretty windy, so kind of a pain the ass for everything. After lunch, Dan and Angie picked us up and drove us the 20 minutes to Walmart. GOOD GOD, don't go to Walmart on Sunday. Filled up on water, skinny popcorn, and other Frito Brand necessities. Plan was to take it easy and have a dry out day on the boat. Well that went south when we ended up at the Thirsty Turtle again for Happy Hour with Greg, Rhonda, Jim and Joann. I guess Monday will be my dry day. We did go down and tour Jim and Joann's 52' searay sedan bridge. WOW what a nice boat. They are traveling with 2 dogs and a parrot. We had dinner on the boat, and I decided to come out and have a cigar and try to type this up. Think we will now head next door to Greg's and finish off the night. OK - back now from Greg's boat and a few more drinks and the guitar came out again.
