So I guess I should start out by saying that today is Marcia and My 26th anniversary. I know this because Marcia had a Facebook memory that came up.

We left Ditto Landing and headed up to Goose Pond. Another good day on the Tennessee river.
We had to be careful coming into Goose Pond with all the sea grass. Nice Marina, and it had a courtesy car that we ended up using to go to Home Depot and Walmart. Ended up getting the parts that I need to fix our kitchen faucet. We went to dinner at the local restaurant here, and the chef was from New Orleans. The gumbo was incredible. I am not a big grits fan, but got the shrimp and grits as it was highly recommended. I ate every morsel.
We left the restaurant and saw a nice sunset
I did think about riding the bike, but then I saw this picture. I literally LOL'd. The bartender said that they were offered $500 for the picture and turned it down. I immediately thought of my bikers - Don, Katie, Steve and Joni. Steve - heard about your fall - best wishes for a speedy recovery.

So after breakfast this morning, we did some chores on the boat. Strainers and oil looked good. Kitchen faucet is fixed, bathroom drain is cleaned and draining. Most important was that as I was pulling cables to check the TV, Direct TV started working again Go Figure! Don't know what I did, but I will take the win. It was hot today, so we dropped the dinghy in and cruised around for awhile. No sandy beaches, so we just jumped in and swam. YES, we heard about Ludlow Bromley. What a shame as it was a great place to go. The group text with about 100 messages today made us feel like we were back home. Always good to hear from everyone. Ended up meeting and talking to a few people on the dock here. They are not doing the loop, but have been living and/or traveling on their boat for awhile. One of them is on a 2017 58' Katey Krogen!. Happy Hour started early on the dinghy, so getting ready to cook dinner on the boat.
View from our slip at Goose Pond.
Traveling again tomorrow and then to Chattanooga. On Friday we hear that we will go through the Canyon. Everyone says it is incredible, so I will try to take a lot of pictures.
